Current Future Projects

At SIFarms, we pride ourselves in growing premium quality organic herbs, greens and microgreens for award winning chefs in some of the country’s most renowned restaurants. We grow a variety of basil, mustard greens, asian greens, unique specialty greens, lettuce and microgreens.

Microgreens are intensely flavorful and highly nutritional greens consists of certain vegetables and herbs harvested when quite young and tender. Microgreens are succulent in salads, hors d’oeuvres, used as garnish or sprinkled over entrees. They can be independent or combined to create a variety of different flavors, colors and textures.

As for herbs, generally speaking, herbs are plants used for food, flavoring or medicinal purpose. In a culinary context, herbs refer to any green or leafy part of a plant used for seasoning and flavoring a recipe but not used as the main ingredient. Because of their strong flavor you do not need a lot to create incredible tasting dishes.
